NORTHEAST DENVER
        EMERGENCY PREPARDENESS SERIES
                                         
Valentine’s Heart is holding the first Northeast Denver Emergency Preparedness Series. Do you know what to do in the event of an emergency or major disaster in your area? What role can you take when your community resources are limited or delayed?

Come and join us for the Northeast Denver Emergency Preparedness Series that will be held at the Montbello Recreation Center located at 15555 E. 53rd Avenue, Denver, CO 80239 (53rd & Chambers). Each Series will be held once per month from May to September as each monthly series will cover a separate preparedness topic.
 
We have partnered with the American Red Cross, Denver Police Department, Denver Fire Department, and the Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management to educate citizens on Emergency Response, Disaster Preparedness, Self-defense, CPR, First Aid, and more.

Each educational series is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required. Are You Ready for an emergency?


May 15, 2010 (10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.) – American Red Cross – Severe Weather Safety Tips & Do’s & Don’ts
